Welcome to First Southern
Baptist Church
At First Southern Baptist Church you will be greeted with a warm smile and a friendly face. Whether you are a first time guest or a long time member, we are happy to see you! Our greeters will help you find a Connect Group, Children’s Check-In, or a seat in the Sanctuary. Make sure to stop and get a warm cup of coffee or a bottle of water. It doesn’t matter if you are in flip flops or a suit, Jesus loves you just as you are and so do we!
What To Expect
Arrival Time
Many people arrive 15 minutes early. There is coffee and many of our members enjoy a few minutes of socializing before our service starts.
What to wear
From flip-flops to suits, we have it all. Be relaxed or dress up, we're just happy to see you.

Each service and Connect Group shares a Biblically-focused message. God's Word is our guide for everything we do.
We are blessed to have many musicians. Each week we rotate through different groups who help bring us to a place of worship. We enjoy a combined style of Hymns & Contemporary songs.

Traditionally referred to as Sunday School, Connect Groups are available for all ages. Ask a Greeter to help direct you to a class that would best fit you!

Our Worship is a mix of traditional and contemporary styles. Nursery is available for birth through 4 years old. Children Pre-K through 6th grade will be dismissed for Children’s Church before the sermon begins.
This is an evening for everyone in your entire family to grow deeper in God’s word. Children are welcome to attend Venture Kids, Youth meet for their weekly Bible Study and a variety of adult classes are offered.
